The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords is an action/adventure game developed by Nintendo and Flagship and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance, bundled with The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. It was released in 2002 in the U.S. and 2003 in other countries. The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords is a Capcom-developed, experimental multi-player game. By using link cables with other Game Boy Advance handhelds that had a copy of the game, players could each control one color of link in an overhead perspective, and solve puzzles co-operatively; two to four players must cooperatively work through a series of puzzle-laden dungeons, while competing to collect rupees.

The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords put you in the role of Link, as Princess Zelda is in some sort of trouble with the evil wind mage named Vaati. To stop him, Link draws the Four Sword, creating 4 of him: The normal green one, a blue one, a red one, and a purple one. Together the links must venture across levels defeating enemies and bosses to prove himself to the fairies to be granted a key.There are three fairies you must prove yourself to.The fairy of fire, ice and nature. There are three keys in all to get to be able to fight Vatti. After you have defeated Vatti you must do the process over again two more times to be granted the four swords icon at the title screen.
