Tom Nook

Tom Nook is the racoon in the Animal Crossing series of games who owns Nook's Cranny and later updates his store. He hires your character to do a couple tasks to pay off their debt for their house. He likes to joke about things and gets mad when he finds something wrong. Later in the game when you are friends with Sable, they both look sad, speak to them both to find out they knew each other a long time ago. Also when you upgrade to the last shop, Nookingtons, upstairs, with the furniture, are Tommy and Timmy who most people assume are Tom Nook's Sons, which is not true as he later reveals when he is sad about them stealing his honey or doing some other thing to annoy him.
