Not much of a walkthough, but some information that might help others.

The following data is with Bman's mod. Mainly default values from the UFO: Extraterrestrials GOLD! edition (available on stream).

Note: Enabling "Realism" can result in less alien tech due to craft damage, both from shooting it down and mission site.

These will destroy some of your ships, unless your overhelm it/them in numbers. They shoot fast.


A fully equipped Jag D1 will die in ~6 hits.

Note *: Losing your main base will result in total defeat, game over.

Note: Scouts can not have 2x2 aliens due to their entrance/exit being just 1 tile wide. So no Terror Floaters, Trilobites (tank), Sentinels (tank), Hallucinoids or Vipons (snakes).
