Thursday, March 15, 2007 - I found this site through Digg and I'm extremely skeptical. If the last twenty minutes I've spent fooling around with the site is any indication, people can actually edit each other's opinions.
Wait, what?
I've always found Wikipedia to be an extremely valuable resource. Wikias themselves have been out for quite some time, but this is the first new Wikia to actually be designed and implemented by the original founder of Wikipedia, along with a halfway-professional-looking interface.
I've thought of a few problems already though:
1. People have the ability to vote for someone's article, effectively subjecting it to a good or bad rating. Why are we rating dynamic articles that will obviously change from time to time due to the nature of this site? This seems pointless to me.
Anyway, that's it for now. I'm not attempting to make this a blog; maybe more like a constantly-changing introductory article. Whatever...
