Apple announced today that they will be upgrading their high-end laptop series, the Mac Book Pro, to include more game friendly features! The upgrades will include an upgraded Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, AMD Radeon GPUs, a new HD FaceTime camera, and Intel's new high-performance data input technology, Thunderbolt.
The 13-inch version will come in both Intel Core i5 and i7 versions, at 2.3GHz and 2.7GHz clocks, respectively, and will include 4GBs of RAM and Intel HD Graphics 3000 graphics processing. The 2.3GHz model will have 320GBs of internal storage and start at $1,199, while the 2.7GHz model will come standard with 500GBs of storage and cost $1,499.
Both of the 15-inch models and the 17-inch MacBook Pro will come standard with quad-core Intel Core i7 processors with clocking speeds ranging from 2.0GHz and 2.2GHz. Like the 13-inch versions, they will come with 4GBs of RAM, and both the integrated Intel HD Graphics 3000 processing as well as dedicated AMD Radeon GPUs. The entry-level 15-inch model will include 500GBs of storage and a 6490M GPU for $1,799, while the higher-end version will include an HD 6750M GPU with 750GBs of storage for $2,199. Finally, the 17-inch model will come with 750GBs of storage and an HD 6750M GPU for $2,499.
