I'd show you one of the screenshots, but that would just prove my point.

This past Sunday, someone leaked screenshots of an "Alpha Trail" of Battlefield 3's multiplayer. In an attempt to suppress the pictures, DICE proves the odd paradox of the Streisand effect by announcing that they have filed a £175,000 (a little under $290,000 USD) lawsuit against the "idiot" (an exact quote) who leaked the screens.

At least one moderator by the name of CrazyCanuck seems to think this is justified, and DICE believes they have a case if the defendant openly defied a Non-Disclosure Agreement. I'm not sure what British tort law has to say on the subject, but it will doubtless be an interesting story to follow in the months to come.
