Having spent most of my life in Canada, I am more than familiar with the "ac-CENT on THE wrong syl-LA-ble" style of Quebecois English. The reasoning behind this is that most Quebecers (especially in rural areas) learn English as a second language, and the peculiarities of both Canadian English and Canadian French result in a strange hybrid accent when a French-Canadian, even if he is fluent in English, tries to speak with his native accent. This being Eidos Montreal, EVERYONE has a raocow/PsychedelicEyeball/Jean Chrétien accent for you to enjoy, if you're into that sort of thing.
Oh, and there's also something about combat, too. I dunno.
