Template documentation (for the template shown above, sometimes hidden or invisible)

This template is used in conjunction with the {{Infobox}} infobox to summarize ratings information for computer or video game articles.

Syntax

Using named parameters

The following parameters may be specified to display ratings for multiple regions in a single call (however, they will not be sorted in any particular order):

BBFC=rating
British Board of Film Classification rating.
CERO=rating
Computer Entertainment Rating Organization rating.
ELSPA=rating
Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association rating.
ESRB=rating
Entertainment Software Rating Board rating.
OFLCA=rating
Office of Film and Literature Classification (Australia)/Australian Classification Board rating.
ACB=rating
Australian Classification Board rating.
OFLCZ=rating
Office of Film and Literature Classification (New Zealand) rating. (If different from OFLCA)
PEGI=rating
Pan European Game Information rating.
USK=rating
Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle rating.
GRB=rating
Game Rating Board rating.

If it is desirable to list ratings in a specific order (e.g. chronological), specify each rating with a separate call.

Alternate syntax

Using two parameters {{vgratings | system | rating }}

system
Wikilinked system/organization name. For brevity, should be formatted as a piped link, e.g. [[wikipedia:Entertainment Software Rating Board|ESRB]]'.
rating
system/organization rating

Using three parameters (for backwards compatibility) {{vgratings | system | ID | rating }}

system | ID
Name and abbreviation for the rating system/organization (ESRB, CERO, PEGI, etc.) to which the rating applies. This is essentially the same format as a piped link, minus the surrounding brackets.
rating
system/organization rating
