After the success of Borderlands and the various DLC, it comes to us as no surprise that today Gearbox Software has announced the sequel. Borderlands 2 is expected to be released in the next fiscal year (which begins April 1, 2012).
In the sequel, players will get to explore various regions of the planet Pandora, which has yet to be explored. The game will also introduce new characters, weapons, skills, enemies, and equipment.
The game will officially make it's debut in two weeks at Gamescom. It will be shown for the first time in the states at PAX Prime from August 26-August 28.
Can't wait to see some more Claptraps and their dancing skills in this new game.
