Uncharted 3

We all know that the week of Halloween begins with many haunts and scares. However, once we are done devouring candy, you should prepare yourself for a big gaming release schedule this week. There are many hot videogames coming out on November 1.

First off, we will begin with one of the most anticipated games of the year, Uncharted 3. Uncharted 3 once again has us controlling the character Nathan Drake as his adventures take him throughout the world. What really stands to set this Uncharted game apart from the other games in the series is the far improved multiplayer. Many people have already got the opportunity to go ahead and try out the multiplayer either in the beta mode or by using one of the Subway codes. As someone who has played it already, I’ll testify that the multiplayer is pretty amazing. Also coming out this week is the re-make of a gaming classic, Goldeneye. GoldenEye 007: Reloaded features many graphical updates to the classical game. However, most intriguing is the addition of a new mode known as 007 Classic. In this mode, players are given the original HUD and read-outs, but with the updated graphics and AI.

Finally, the week wraps up with two more classic franchises – The Lord of the Rings and Sonic. The Lord of the Rings: War in the North is a role-playing game. Players have the ability to control three different characters - Eradan, the Human Ranger, Farin the Warrior Dwarf, and Andriel, the Elven Loremaster. The blue hedgehog returns in the game Sonic Generations. This game involves many fun aspects including time travel as Sonic travels back into the past and meets himself. Where the adventure goes from here is difficult to say? But also where the fun of the game comes in. Which of these games are you looking forward to playing the most?
