If you were excited to hear Catwoman was going to be a playable character in Batman: Arkham City, then you'll be even more excited to hear the boy wonder himself, Robin, will not only make an appearance, but will also be a playable character.

The confirmation doesn't come from Warner Bros. nor Rocksteady Games, but instead, comes from an ad from Best Buy promoting a pre-order exclusive that gives players the chance to play as Robin for two challenge maps. If you remember, PS3 owners were able to play as The Joker in Batman: Arkham Asylum's challenge maps, so allowing players to play as someone besides Batman in the challenge maps isn't anything new.

Since Robin will be a pre-order exclusive for Best Buy shoppers, I'm curious to see if other retailers will have their own exclusive characters that can be accessed in Batman: Arkham City's challenge maps. I'm hoping these turn out to be timed exclusives as it would be a shame to miss out on some great content just because I failed to pre-order at the proper retailer.
