Let's face it - Brink certainly had a lot of potential when I previewed it a couple of months back, but it wasn't everything I expected when it released a little over a month ago. No matter as the game still has a loyal following as well as a number of players who will gladly get back into the battle between Security and Resistance when Brink's first DLC is released early next month.

Brink's upcoming DLC will be called "Agents of Change" and will feature two maps, five new player abilities, two outfits, and two weapon attachments. The DLC will be made available on PSN, Xbox Live, and Steam and will be made available for free for two weeks after it's released. Brink's developer Splash Damage didn't go into detail as how much the DLC will cost after the free two week period, but I'm sure that info will be released as soon as the DLC hits in early July.

Splash Damage also took this opportunity to inform players they've been hard at work on the next major title update which will bring a number of enhancements such as online optimizations, AI enhancements, and weapon balance tweaks based on player feedback. The update will be made available alongside the Agents of Change DLC release, which I'm certainly looking forward to as my experience will the full retail product of Brink has been sullied by terrible lag. I still believe Brink can became the game I expected from such a great and legendary developer as Splash Damage, and I hope the new DLC and update bring it back from the dead.
