Late Night with Jimmy Fallon ended its "Video Game Week" week-long segment on Friday with Nintendo of America's President and COO, Reggie Fils-Aime. Reggie wasn't on the show to discuss current events or what he thought about Lindsey Lohan, instead, he was there to show off a number of Nintendo products such as the 3DS, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, and the newly announced Wii U.

During the segment, Jimmy Fallon got to play around with Kid Icarus: Uprising, specifically the AR battle card mode. Then Reggie moved on to show a quick demo of Skyward Sword, which he allowed Jimmy Fallon to fight against Stalfos and turned out to be a better boss battle experience than his demo with Gears of War 3. Once the Skyward Sword demo was over, Reggie brought out the Wii U so Fallon could get his hands on the controller.

Towards the end of the segment, Reggie let the expected release date for the Wii U slip as he states the Wii U will be out "in 2012, after April." This is the first time anyone from Nintendo has given a release date for the Wii U, so let's see how close after April 2012 it will release.
