Thank You for (5000 pages) Message

Thanks Revitalizer for dropping into FarmVille Wiki and leaving a fabulous message, it is truly appreciated to be acknowledge for the long time hard work. It has been a challenge to learn how to use the wiki at my age 40+ but the team at FarmVille Wiki have been tremendously supportive. We have a wonderful graphic artist in Ayopip, and a big sister Bureaucrat in Vandraedha, a marvellous inspiration in Clingtang84, and more recently a great group of editing Admins (AlexSUCF, Greenny, StudioEF and others). Even though we have had quite our fair share of vandalism and harrassment, we continue to work on providing information to game players.

Thanks for the "500" message Edit

Thanks for the "500 pages" message. I didn't realize someone would keep track of a wiki devoted to the shortest of the notable 2011 games :)

It's good to see our wiki here. Usually editors makes a few changes on the wiki while they play RAGE (which takes a week as a maximum) and then leave, an so there are very few active editors on our wiki. Perhaps this will help to change the situation.

Help With Adding Wikis to Portals Edit

Hey Revitalizer. Any chance you remember me, Doom636, from Xenoblade Wiki? I think we talked a bit on a blog of mine a while ago. You suggested I affiliate my wikis: Xenoblade, The Last Story and Pandora's Tower (although I don't think I really mentioned The Last Story Wiki).

Anyway, I was looking for someone to ask about adding a wiki to the community here and while looking through the talk page of Adan, I believe it was, I saw a discussion where you mentioned adding wikis you came across to the lists and you suggested the new RPG portal layout. I felt that it would be hard to get Adan's attention, with his talk page being so big and him so busy, so I thought I'd ask you. How do I add Pandoras Tower Wiki and The Last Story Wiki to the portals? I think they both go under Japanese RPGs. I think I just have to add some stuff to the Portal:Role Playing Games/Wikis, but no idea what. Thanks, Jake! 09:14, June 2, 2012 (UTC)

Eternal Sonata credits Edit

I noticed that each gaming page has a link for a separate credits section, or one to be created. When I did the complete Eternal Sonata script for GameFAQs, I actually did all the credits, and I mean all of them, everything that was displayed. If it would be okay, I would go ahead and create the page. If you like, I can just go ahead and copy and paste the complete info. It would be a fairly time-consuming project, though, to get everything into proper wikitext and linked up. ProfessorTofty (talk) 04:08, December 9, 2012 (UTC)

Credits page created, but there's something screwy with that template. Theoretically it should display "credits" at the bottom of the infobox in black, instead it's showing as a link to "http://gaming.wikia.com/wiki/Eternal_Sonata/credits/credits?action=edit&redlink=1". Take a look at my sandbox wiki to see a first run at a new appearance and let me know what you think. Since you're keeping the poll and news blog on the right column, I inserted a featured video section (where new videos for upcoming games could be showcased) to fill in the empty space of the left column. I'm happy to help. And just to be sure you saw it (for replacing the NavTabs on the portals), the new nav buttons are located at Template:PortalButtons. Don't forget to contact Jorge about the portals. If he's too busy, he may ask me to handle the portals, which is fine with me as long as it's fine with you guys. JoePlay

RE: Old Sub-Pages Edit

It's been taken care of. I should note, however, that the Archived articles should be categorized under "Encyclopedia Gamia Archives" so if something were to happen, we would have all of these articles together. Z mario 13:51, January 5, 2013 (UTC)

Hmm...that is a good question. There are currently only two pages in that archive category...let me check the template and see if I can redirect it to a new category, that way it would be easier to distinguish. Z mario 21:25, January 5, 2013 (UTC)

After tinkering around for a little bit, I found it won't work, so just leave it at the current category it is. But yes, all those pages need to be stripped of their "Encyclopedia Gamia" category, as they are no longer in use. Z mario 21:39, January 5, 2013 (UTC)

15,000 Pages!!! FarmVille WikiaEdit
