WWF Wrestlemania (named after the annual pay-per-view event) was a NES game developed by Rare amd published by Acclaim Entertainment in 1989. It was the first officially licensed WWF game, meaning it featured actual WWF wrestlers, unlike previous wrestling games that only featured fictional characters. Players can either play exhibition matches or a tournament to determine the next WWF champion.
