Wikia Gaming:Admin nominations
From Wikia Gaming, your source for walkthroughs, games, guides, and more!
The purpose of this page is to provide a place for users of the Wikia Gaming to nominate their peers to be promoted to administrator status. Nominations posted here should be posted as wiki user links, and seconds should be posted as text under a nomination.
The general goal of Wikia Gaming is to have an administrator for every few hundred users, to maintain organization, watch contributions, and guard the system against acts of vandalism and harassment.
The following are the currently considered criteria for selecting administrators for Wikia Gaming:
- Good familiarity with MediaWiki/WG/Wikipedia in general and editing skills.
- Good history of updates and changes to articles, with proven written English skills and quality of contribution.
- Highly respected by fellow members of the community.
- Approval of a majority of the existing administrators.
- No history of banning/locking.
- Special considerations of the administrative staff or specific needs of the wiki itself.
Accepted admins or those removed from the process will be removed from this page as an ongoing process. No one will be removed from the process without a given reason. Nominated users not voted admins must wait a minimum of one month before being nominated again. Users may not nominate themselves.

Since this has 3 support votes (actually 4 since I also support this) and no opposition, and it's been open for a month, I'm closing this as successful. Congratulations. - Adan Aileron (talk) 16:32, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Support
- Most active contributor and is always adding new content. Would do very well with some extra buttons. --Charitwo (talk) 22:34, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
- I also support as he adds the classic games from the older consoles --Cs california 23:33, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
- I support this, although I only hope that the extra buttons don't stop him from adding content like he does now (that seems to be a common problem among admins -- myself included -- where we stop adding content because we're too busy patrolling edits or whatnot). --Skizzerz 16:48, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
